For me, Yosemite in spring is all about waterfalls. The volume of water is astounding - especially this year given all of the rain in March. When you add spring waterfalls to a full moon, some really spectacular phenomenons occur. This weekend the first light of the moon on Yosemite Falls created a double moonbow (lunar rainbow) and the last light of the moon on Horsetail Falls and created a fire fall (first photographed by Michael Frye). What a spectacular weekend to be in Yosemite with a camera.
