Of all the great things I get to experience in Kenya, by far my favorite us getting to spend time with the locals. The more I go, the more I feel like family. Young kids, moms with babies, and old men will recognize me, walk up and say "Jambo" (Hello). Impromptu conversations usually take a while - a very Kenyan trait is the belief that there is nothing more important than spending time in relationships - something I wish I could do more when I'm back in the USA. Here are a few images of people from the last trip to Kilgoris. To me, these aren't just snapshots - they are records of time I got to spend with friends!
