Bhaktapur, the Ancient

_DSC1494-Edit

Once an independent kingdom, Bhaktapur has become a living relic. It’s location on the traditional trade route between Tibet and India created a rich mix of architecture and culture. As my friend Matt and I wandered the streets, I was drawn to photographing people going about their daily life among thousand-year-old buildings. Anywhere else, this would be a museum. In Nepal, families call it home.
