Under Monterey Bay

DSC00447 Monterey Bay is an astonishing habitat. And at the moment, the water is clear enough to see it. My friend Jason Bradley and dove Carmel and Monterey over the weekend. Kelp, sea anemones, fish, hairy crabs, sea lions - all incredible. The most unusual sighting was a sea anemone eating a jellyfish (image below). It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. When I finally did I was so surprised I almost spat my regulator out!
