Okavango Leopards

untitled-shoot-20140427-485-DSC_5901 Cheetahs are fast, lions are powerful, but to me the leopard is the ultimate cat. They are unbelievably strong, stealthy, and just plain beautiful. I spent a total of 4-5 hours with two leopards on the north end of Chief's Island in the Okavango. Pula, the leopard in the first image on this page is one of the two surviving cubs of Legadima - the leopard who that Dereck and Beverley Joubert tracked for years for the film "The Eye of the Leopard". It's kinda fun to hang out with a celebrity leopard.
