A few weeks ago I was wandering through British Columbia's Great Bear Rain Forest. Last weekend I spent time in a different kind of forest - the underwater kelp forests of California's Channel Islands. Wow - what an experience. It felt a little like hiking in a redwood forest with all of the tall "trees" and the thick forest canopy.
We also had the chance to dive an oil rig near LA. This immense underwater structure was teeming with marine life!
